Basketball Abdul-Rauf's Plan: Stand, Pray & Play
Was suspended for not agreeing/participating in the prayer. Religious beliefs. He played for the Denver Nuggets. He converted into Isalm in 1991. If he wish to play again he would have to agree and participate in the anthem. The 48 hour suspension ended in the 27 year olds fight not to have to do what is against his religion. he does not disagree with what did he thinks he did the right thing by putting his belief first. Then in the end he realized that he wasn't all rig tabour the way he handled it all. he admits he could have handled it better. But in the end he was still able to play for his team.
